Mr. Le Sage is a retired former partner in the Los Angeles office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, a global law firm with more than 1,100 lawyers in 18 offices across the United States, Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Latin America. His practice included mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, distressed transactions, reorganizations, going private transactions, hostile takeovers, venture capital transactions, public offerings, private placements, corporate securities and general business law matters.
Mr. Le Sage has been named as a leading lawyer by The Best Lawyers in America (2013 edition) and as one of the top corporate transactional attorneys in California by Chambers USA America’s Leading Business Lawyers (2013, 2012, 2011, 2010 and 2009 editions). Mr. Le Sage was also named as one of the “Top 20 Under 40” lawyers in California by the Daily Journal (January 2012).
Mr. Le Sage graduated cum laude from Loyola Law School of Los Angeles in 1998, where he was a member of the Order of the Coif and a Sayre Macneil Scholar. He served as an editor of the Loyola Law Review and president of the St. Thomas More Law Honor Society. In 1995, Mr. Le Sage received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Brown University, where he majored in Business Economics and Organizational Behavior and Management with an emphasis on finance.
Mr. Le Sage served as a National Trustee of the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, and President of Heart of Los Angeles Youth, an inner city youth organization that he has been involved with for over fifteen years. He also recently founded The Remember Bracero Foundation, a non-profit focused on education and scholarship opportunities.
Prior to joining Envisage, Mr. Ritchie was President of TrendShift, a healthcare technology business whose product, The Agile Healthcare Platform, helps risk-holders cut waste out of their health care spend. Previously he worked at Fortress Investment Group and JP Morgan Investment Management where he focused on capitalizing unique assets, products and people to deliver superior returns to all stakeholders. His institutional private equity experience includes numerous multi-billion dollar transactions in Europe and North America where he was involved in all phases of the investment process: portfolio company acquisition, operations, re-capitalization and final sale / exit.
Mr. Ritchie earned his B.A. from the University of California at Santa Barbara in both Philosophy and Anthropology and a M.A. from the University of Chicago in Social Science.
Prior to Envisage, Mr. Fernandez was a Managing Director for Columbia West Capital, LLC, a boutique investment banking firm focused on the Southwestern United States. He was responsible for sourcing and executing mergers and acquisition and capital raising assignments for middle market companies in California and Nevada. Before joining Columbia West Capital, Mr. Fernandez was the co-head of CIBC World Markets’ West Coast Leveraged Finance and Gaming, Lodging and Leisure practices. In Mr. Fernandez’ ten years at CIBC, he worked actively with numerous strategic companies and private equity firms to originate, structure and distribute high yield issues, bank financings and private placements in various industries. Prior to joining CIBC, he was a bond analyst for Trust Company of the West’s High Yield Bond Group as well as a generalist in the Specialized Finance group at Union Bank of California. Mr. Fernandez is on the Board of Directors of Latino Deal Makers.
Mr. Fernandez holds degrees in Economics and History from Claremont McKenna College. Mr. Fernandez is registered with the FINRA (formerly NASD) and has a series 7 and 63 securities license.
Prior to Envisage, Mr. Gil served in the Corporate Development team at Starbucks Corporation. During his time at Starbucks, he was involved in the acquisition of Teavana and Evolution Fresh, as well as the partnership and investment in Square. Prior to this, he served as an analyst in Fortress Investment Group’s Infrastructure and Transportation Group. During his time at Fortress, Mr. Gil participated in the evaluation and execution of over $1 billion in investments. Mr. Gil began his career at Credit Suisse in the Latin America and Industrials Group.
Mr. Gil holds his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a B.A in Economics from Dartmouth College.
Prior to Envisage, Mr. Hirschmann served as a Portfolio Management Associate at Aesir Capital Management, a long/short credit hedge fund which has more than $750 million under management. During his time at Aesir Capital he generated and executed trade ideas while monitoring the overall risk of the portfolio. Prior to this, he served as an analyst at UBS Investment Bank in the fixed income sales and trading division where he focused on interest rate derivatives, investment grade credit, and high yield credit sales. Mr. Hirschmann is registered with FINRA and has a series 7 and 63.
Mr. Hirschmann holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Southern California.
Eric specializes in reviewing and enhancing companies’ go to market strategy as well as building sales teams and processes to maximize market penetration. He serves on the Board of Directors for Ascending Lights.
He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Colorado, Boulder.
